Some observations of the Tel Aviv traffic

I’ve been just walking around for about two hours and sitting at the window of a streetside restaurant and made some observations i want to share:

The traffic behaviour is (in my opinion) kinda regular mediterranean.
Quite fast, traffic regulations seem more like recommendations, a lot of scooters and small motorcycles.

But!
Many bicycles are in use, and a lot of these are a) foldable and b) electrified!
And i even just saw some sort of electro-longboard…

Back home eBicycles (don’t know why they’re sold as ‚Pedelecs‘) are spreading also, but slowly and usually bought&driven by the elderly. Here these seem to be mostly used by young people.

Don’t know what you’re thinking, but i see this as really interesting :)

(Btw.: many cars have small israel flags attached. The kind of plastic-stick-with-window-mount which we germans only show in this kind and amount if our ((male)) football team is in the quarter finals of the worldcup. But yesterday has been the Israeli Independence Day, so this could be just remainders and not normal behaviour…)
