After wrestling, where I was able to gain my first fighting experience at an early age, I got stuck in kickboxing via Jiu Jitsu at the end of the 80s.<\/p>\n<p>After more than 20 years of experience as a trainer, I was looking for new SV systems. This is where I first ended up with Pentjak Silat and then, in 2018, with Krav Maga.<\/p>\n<p>With Krav Maga, I am fascinated by the reflex-based, effective and adaptable techniques. Superfluous and complicated movement sequences are completely dispensed with. Through stress drills and scenario training, the learned skills are deepened and automated so that they can be called upon in exceptional situations. In addition, tactical behaviour is taught here, which I have never seen anywhere else.
