<\/span><\/div>I’ve been practicing martial arts since I was a kid. I started with kickboxing and later I continued with “free Brazilian wrestling”, the Luta Livre. I started my self-defense training with the concept “jeet kune do”, developed by Bruce Lee. Since 2006 I have been practicing Krav Maga, but I also try to think outside the box and so, for example, shooting is a great passion of mine. I teach Krav Maga in my own “Krav Maga Institute” schools, but also as an external service provider and lecturer, e.g. for the police in NRW or as a close combat instructor for the German Armed Forces, for which I was appointed by the Ministry of Defence a few years ago and have been teaching soldiers regularly since then. On an international level I am also active as an instructor for police, security and military units. In order to spread Krav Maga worldwide, I and my team have founded the worldwide association “KRAVolution”, which includes some of the best and most highly qualified Krav Maga training experts and self-defence schools, e.g. currently in Israel, France, South America, Canada and the USA. It is our common goal to enable people like you and me to be able to defend themselves, their families, comrades and colleagues in case of violent attacks. We do not train everyone and explicitly not those from whom we actually want to protect ourselves! The Krav Maga developed by Imi Lichtenfeld, originally for the Israeli military, is in my opinion the fastest to learn system for functional defence, which is also available to everyone under stress! Krav Maga proves itself every day in actual use by professional users of the police and military, which means that it is constantly being put to the test and from this knowledge – real attack situations – it is also constantly and “open mindedly” further developed.<\/p>\n<\/div>
